Azma Holiday began his journey at Red Rock Recovery Center nearly five years ago as a chef, and over time had the privilege of growing into roles as Assistant Executive Director, Executive Director, and now Executive Director of Operations for both the Basecamp and Lakewood locations. His passion for helping others started long before he joined Red Rock, but the organization’s core values and mission have always aligned deeply with his own. Over the years, he has learned the art of effective, meaningful operations, and throughout his time with the organization, he has remained committed to advocating for patients, championing their success, and fostering the purpose and community that Red Rock is known for. Grateful for how far he has come in his own life, he remains dedicated to walking alongside those who are ready to begin their journey.
Hannah Bingler, Clinical Director, LPC, LAC

Hannah Bingler is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor with a deep passion for helping people rediscover hope and purpose in their lives. After earning her Master’s in Counseling from the University of Denver, Hannah began her career driven by a belief that healing is always possible.
Throughout her work, Hannah has walked alongside individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, helping them uncover their inner strength and build lasting change. Her approach is grounded in authenticity and connection, creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered on their journey toward recovery and self-discovery.

Director of Business Development
Laura Beth “LB” Burkhalter, is our Alumni and Community Relations Manager. She is a Certified Naloxone Administration Trainer, Recovery Coach, Co-Chair of TPAS Colorado and sits on the National Board of Directors for TPAS (Treatment Professionals in Alumni Services). LB is a founding board member of Colorado Artists in Recovery and serves as an inspector for the Colorado Association of Recovery Residences. LB is passionate about creating a recovery community through music, creating sober safe spaces in the LGBTQ+ community and helping individuals sustain recovery through connection. LB is a human in long term multi-dimensional recovery, who celebrated 5 years of sobriety in November 2020.
Cole Raso Certified Peer Coach
Ascent Program Director
Cole found his passion and purpose when he started as a Recovery Support Specialist. As a person in sustained recovery from substance use disorder and a Red Rock alumnus, Cole brings meaningful lived experience to his work. He has a strong passion for recovery and for helping others find what was so freely given to him. He says working at Red Rock the last five years has been amazing. His favorite part of the job is not only being a resource, but witnessing the strength and growth of every patient who walks through the doors. Cole is dedicated to sharing his experience, strength, and hope to show individuals that recovery is possible. He enjoys watching sports (Go Avalanche), playing softball, and spending time with family and friends. Taking it one day at a time, Cole always remembers to trust the process and enjoy the little things.
John Lemonds, LPC
Director of Utilization Review
John completed his Bachelors in Government at Nicholls State University while working at the Lafourche Juvenile Justice department. Then got his Masters at University of New Orleans in Education. After completing his graduate studies, he moved to Tampa, Florida to work in the Juvenile Justice Department and work in the field for 20 years. In 2015 he moved to Buffalo Creek, Colorado and eventually became licensed as a LPC in the state of Colorado. He started his substance abuse treatment employment at Arapahoe House as a utilization review specialist. He also worked as a Clinical director for their adolescent residential facility. Once Arapahoe House closed he became the Utilization review specialist for Red Rock Recovery and then promote to Utilization Review Director 2019. He has worked in behavioral health for the past 25+ years, and continues to ensure patients get quality care. He enjoys cooking Cajun cuisine, mountain biking, hiking, working out and fishing.
Tristan Beymer LCSW

Tristan completed her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Counseling and double minor in Family Studies and Addiction Recovery from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2008. After moving back to her home state Colorado, she completed her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. Furthering her education, Tristan completed a postgraduate degree from the Denver Family Institute. Following graduation, she began working in day treatment with high risk youth where her passion for long term recovery began. Tristan began specializing in her work with families, and working with co-occurring disorders with Addiction, PTSD, Complex PTSD, Attachment, and Mood Disorders. Continuing her training, Tristan became a Equine Assisted Psychotherapist, using horses in a therapeutic environment to facilitate recovery and change.

Laura Di Stefano is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), AcuDetox Practitioner, and EMDR-trained clinician with over ten years of experience supporting adults through substance use recovery, trauma healing, and emotional wellness. She integrates evidence-based approaches to help her clients build insight, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. Laura is committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care and empowers individuals to reconnect with their strengths as they navigate recovery and personal growth. Outside the therapy room, Laura enjoys adventuring with her dog Bodhi, spending time with friends, being outdoors, hiking, creative activities, and continuing her own personal development.
Tracy Topping, LPCC

Tracy is a therapist who recently graduated from Regis University with a Master of Arts in Counseling. She is deeply committed to supporting individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges, offering compassion, empathy, and a safe space where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Her approach is gentle, person-centered, and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the chance to heal and recover. Outside of work, Tracy loves hiking, reading, gardening, snowboarding, and traveling.
Eric Elmore, LPCC, NCC

Eric earned his Bachelor of Science at Texas Tech University in 2009 and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver in 2023. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and Addiction Counselor Candidate in Colorado. He is trained in individual and group therapy for treating co-occurring substance use disorders, trauma, and mood disorders. Eric’s passion for counseling stems from his belief that every individual deserves to live as their happiest, most authentic self. He meets people where they are and helps them reintegrate into a life that is meaningful and worth living.

Molly received her Bachelor of Science in Finance at Northern Arizona University in 2012 and her Master of Social Work at Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2023. Over the past five and a half years, she has worked across the full continuum of care, including inpatient psychiatric care, medical detox, outpatient community mental health, and now intensive outpatient treatment. She specializes in mental health with a focus on attachment trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, and co-occurring substance use. Her approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration, using modalities such as Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, and psychoeducation on the mind-body connection. Outside of work, Molly enjoys gardening, creative expression, learning new skills, and snuggling her two cats.
Samuel Hockley, LPC

Sam is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). After graduating with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University in 2019, he has supported clients of all ages across various settings. He spent five years working in a psychiatric hospital, assisting individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including substance use recovery. Sam specializes in evidence-based approaches such as CBT and DBT to support clients’ mental health and well-being. His journey into therapy was driven by a desire to be a safe, supportive presence for others. Sam values collaboration, unconditional acceptance, and helping clients reach their goals. He believes everyone is inherently beautiful and sometimes just needs help recognizing it.
Rachel Sullivan, SWC

Rachel received her Bachelor of Social Work in 2023 and her Master of Social Work in 2024 from Metropolitan University of Denver. She began working as a recovery support specialist in Red Rock’s sober living homes in 2020, which inspired her to return to school to pursue therapy. She transferred to the admissions department in 2022, strengthening her crisis intervention and assessment skills. Rachel has practiced psychotherapy at the inpatient location since August 2024, focusing on adults struggling with substance use and mental health challenges. Her passion is deeply rooted in her own recovery journey, allowing her to bring empathy, authenticity, and meaningful insight to her work with clients.
Mackenzie Roberts, LPCC
Primary Therapist
Mackenzie Roberts, LPCC, earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Law, Values, and Ethics from the University of Houston in 2023, followed by a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2025. She has extensive experience collaborating with attorneys, small business owners, and practicing therapists.
During her graduate training, Mackenzie interned with Denver Adult Probation in the Substance Desistance Opportunity Program, where she worked with clients in outpatient substance use treatment and supported individuals involved in drug court cases, with a strong emphasis on rehabilitation. In her second year, she completed an internship at Red Rock Recovery Center, serving as a primary therapist at their inpatient facility and providing treatment for individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
Following the completion of her graduate degree, Mackenzie continued her work as a primary therapist at Red Rock Recovery Center’s inpatient treatment program. Witnessing loved ones affected by addiction ignited her passion for mental health and substance use treatment and shaped her commitment to empathetic, ethical, and client-centered care. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys attending live music events, farmers markets, snowboarding, crocheting, and spending quality time with friends and her two cats, Cotton and Bonnie.
Wendy Tekverk, LSW
Primary Therapist
Wendy earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Denver in 2023. Over the past four years, she has provided psychotherapy in a variety of settings. Wendy began her career as a special education science teacher, where witnessing the mental-health impacts of COVID-19 inspired her to pursue clinical work. She started by supporting adolescents and later transitioned to working with adults experiencing psychosis. These experiences shaped her grounding and skillset in her current role as a substance use clinician. Outside of work, Wendy enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog and experimenting in the kitchen.
Ronnie Schroeder, CAT
Case Manager
Ronnie Schroeder is a Certified Addiction Technician and is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s in Social Work. Ronnie has over 9 years of experience working in recovery environments and has been sober since 2009. Ronnie began work with Red Rock in 2020, and worked at RRRC’s sober living and outpatient program before transferring to Basecamp where he now works as a Case Manager. Ronnie brings his passion for sobriety, authenticity, and shared experiences to all client interactions as they navigate life in early recovery.

Dr. William received his medical degree from University of Benin College of Medicine. He was Chief Resident at the University at Harlem Hospital Center, College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia.
Dr. William is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, board certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM), and Member of the Colorado Psychiatric Society.
Alex Hillesheim PA

Originally from Minnesota, Alex moved to Colorado to complete her Physician Assistant training at Rocky Vista University. She is passionate about supporting patients in their mental health journey, and believes strongly in empowering individuals through education, collaboration, and compassionate care. She has experience across inpatient psychiatric settings, detox and substance use treatment, and outpatient medication management. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her mini goldendoodle and staying active through hiking, golfing, and snowboarding
Andrea Russel
Billing Manager
Andrea received her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2016. She has worked in healthcare since 2008, beginning as a medical coder and more recently as a biller. Andrea found her passion for behavioral health billing in 2018, working specifically with eating-disorder treatment programs. In 2023, she joined Red Rock Recovery Center and discovered a deeper love for behavioral health as a whole. She focuses her energy on helping patients navigate insurance and financial barriers. “My number one goal is to make the money side as stress-free as possible,” she says. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and creating quilts.
Alex Baldassare
Personnel and Compliance Coordinator
Alex Baldassare, CPFS, received her Bachelor’s in Neuroscience from the University of Colorado in Boulder, where she minored in lived experience with substance use. She got sober in 2019 and began working in the treatment field shortly after. Most of her experience is in direct patient care and program management, but she transitioned into an administrative role at RRRC to support a healthier work-life balance. Her motivation for operational excellence is rooted in making employees’ lives easier so they can focus fully on patients. Alex has two young children and enjoys baking, crafting, board games, and puzzles.
Melissa Woodring
Community Outreach Specialist
Melissa is our Community Outreach Representative. Melissa brings years of experience working in client advocacy roles and as an admissions and outreach representative for substance abuse, mental health, and trauma-informed programs. As a woman in recovery herself, Melissa is passionate about empowering and expanding treatment options to those struggling. She has learned the best way to dismantle the stigma and combat the shame so often associated with substance abuse, is a loving, inclusive and welcoming community. In her free time, you can find Melissa playing tennis, enjoying live music, and cheering on Philly sports teams.
Michael Cook
Outreach Specialist
Michael has been with RRRC since April 2023, growing through the roles of Admissions, Alumni Coordinator, and now Outreach Specialist. His journey began in 2021 when he started his own recovery as a Red Rock patient. Over the last few years, he has served in many capacities, but as an alumnus, he has always viewed himself first as a supportive peer. Michael’s most meaningful contribution is the ability to meet patients where they are with understanding and empathy, informed by his lived experience in recovery. He is honored to be part of the Red Rock legacy and strives daily to give back to the program that changed his life.
Emily Elrich
Office Coordinator
Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Florida in 2010 before completing graduate studies in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology in 2016. Before entering the recovery field, she worked over six years implementing ABA therapy with children with autism, building a strong foundation in behavioral science. Her path to Red Rock began when she became a patient over a year ago, an experience that reshaped her life and inspired her to give back. After serving as Assistant House Manager, she transitioned into her role as Office Coordinator, where she is grateful to help individuals find hope, stability, and meaningful change.

Luke is a dedicated behavioral health professional with eight years of experience serving diverse populations. With a background in 12-step recovery, he is passionate about helping individuals—and their families—take the first difficult step toward long-term happiness and freedom. Luke is completing a Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Grand Canyon University to better support those he serves. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his dog Jason, watching baseball, playing music, and fishing.

Justin has been in recovery since October 2022 and has transformed his personal journey into a professional calling. He earned his QBHA certification in September 2025 and has spent over two years as a Peer Support Specialist. Justin brings a powerful combination of lived experience, strength, and compassion grounded in active participation in a 12-step program. He connects with others in a genuine, supportive way that fosters trust and encouragement. Outside of work, he spends time outdoors with his family and his puppy, Macy.
Deon Jackson
Recruiter
Deon has spent his career working in behavioral health and supportive housing across the Denver area, supporting individuals facing mental health challenges, substance use concerns, and major life transitions. His experience in case management, skills development, and program support informs his grounded, compassionate approach. This foundation also shapes his recruitment work, where he is committed to bringing on mission-driven individuals uniquely suited for this field. Deon holds undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Media Communication and is completing his Master’s in Media Design while preparing to enter an MSW program. His long-term goal is to pursue LCSW and LAC licensure. Outside of work, he enjoys connecting with friends, family, and his community.
