Sara is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. She came to Colorado to earn her master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from University of Denver, where she developed a passion for advocacy and developing programming to meet the community’s needs. At Red Rock Recovery Center, Sara supports the clinical team to facilitate person centered evidenced based practices aimed at developing a client’s purpose for change and reconnection to their community. She has experience in dual diagnosis treatment with a focus on trauma informed care, interpersonal effectiveness, and life skills building. In her spare time you can find her on a hike or taking care of her two dogs.
